We are delighted to welcome back Benjamin Nabarro to perform Sibelius' unsurpassed Violin Concerto, fiery and passionate yet at the same time alluding to the frozen northern wastes of the Finn's homeland.

Brahms' 3rd Symphony, at times equally intense and passionate, provides a strong contrast with its rich sonorities and some of the German's most lyrical orchestral writing.

And first of all a close shave from Rossini to keep us all on our toes ...
